No defect notice shall be issued for the installation of LED light sources ("LED bulbs") in headlamps for vehicles that:
are initially supplied with other types of light sources (e.g. halogen), provided that type approval documents are presented for the LED bulbs.
If the approval documents do not include information that the bulbs are compatible with the vehicle in question, it must also be

If the necessary documentation is not presented, a defect notice must be issued stating that the lamp and light source are not compatible.
The defect notice can be acknowledged/approved upon subsequent inspection upon presentation of the vehicle with the necessary documentation.
